Meissen and Jing De Zhen

This picture shows my modern Meissen Chinese tea cup with its ancestor. Yep! The cup on the right is an original end of 17th Century old tea cup from Jing De Zhen, a famous pottery town in China. It is to Porcelain what Yixing is to teapots. That is where Meissen got its technology to make white porcelain. And, as you can see, the design of these 2 cups shows how related their story is.
